Mewsette Cartwright has been teaching the arts for 17 years now since 2006. She began as a yoga (YogaFIt) instructor, then taught Zumba for several years. Later, she found her passion in teaching Ballroom Dance in 2009 (DVIDA). Having taught several residents of Marshall County, Kosciusko County and now Starke County.  She has also served as the dance director of Plymouth Dancing with the Stars 2010-2022. Mewsette is also certified in Acrobatic Arts and CPR certified that compliments her yoga and dance classes. 

Mewsette is a 5th Degree Dan, Hombu Shihan of Juko Kai International under her Soke Rod Sacharnoski. See our martial arts page for more information on classes. The types of arts taught are: Shorinji (Chinese & Japanese) Chikara-Ken Karate Jutsu, Aiki Inyo Toho (Sword Arts) and Goshin Jutsu (Modern Self- Defense).
